Make sure to have your controller connected before you open up the game. You can try run the game without restarting but restarting gives the fix the best chance at working. If you want, you can back up the game before trying this solution. A prompt will come up when you try to do so, asking if you want to replace the files in the directory, click 'replace all' or equivalent. Since I downloaded the game from steam and used the default download location the directory path (the place where SYSTEM is located) is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist\src\SYSTEM" for me. It should be labeled: x360ce vibmod 3.1.4.1Ĭopy and paste the contents of the file above into the Splinter Cell Blacklist SYSTEM directory. Long story short, the video contained %80 of what would eventually solve the problem and I did some %20 of tinkering to get the creator's solution to work. So I had a lot of trouble getting my xbox one controller to work for Splinter Cell Blacklist and couldn't find any answers until I looked at a certain youtube video.
